Erzurum Kalkınma Vakfı (Er-Vak),Erzurum’un düşman işgalinden kurtuluşunun 100 yılı anısına “Yüce Dağların Başında” isimli yeni bir kitabı Er-Vak yayınları arasında çıkardı.Konuyla ilgili açıklama yapan Er-Vak Başkanı Erdal Güzel, bir toplumun genetik kodlarının, ürettiği kültür birikimlerinde saklı olduğunu, bu birikimlerin; o toplumun nesilden nesile aktardığı maddi ve manevi değerlerin tümünü kapsadığını, toplumların varlıklarını sürdürebilmeleri için sahip oldukları bu değerleri yaşatmaları gerektiğini hatırlatarak,örf,adet,dil,inanç,musiki,oyun,sanat,şiir,türkü,giyim,hikaye, masal, mimarî gibi unsurları taşıyan bu değerlerin o toplumun kimliğini oluşturduğunu ve yöreye göre farklılıklar gösterdiğini, tarihî miras olarak kabul edilen kültür öğelerinin zenginliğinin de de ait olduğu toplumun dinamizmi ve geçmişi ile ilgili olduğuna dikkat çekti.Erzurum’un zengin bir kültür mirasına sahip olduğunu söyleyen Güzel, Erzurum’un kültür değerleri içerisinde ilk akla gelenin “Dadaş” kavramı ve “ Bar” ismi verilen halkoyunu olduğunu ifade etti.“Dadaş” karakterinin ve Erzurum coğrafyasının sergilendiği Bar’ın, kuşaktan kuşağa taşındığını özellikle düğün ve bayram gibi özel günler ile cirit gibi müsabakalar öncesinde oynandığını ve halen oynanmaya devam ettiğini söyleyen Güzel, geçmişte oynanan bazı barların günümüzde oynanmaması ,kostümler konusunda görülen eksiklikler ‘ Bar’a ruh veren düşüncenin anlaşılmaması bu mirasın yaşatılması konusunda bazı endişeleri beraberinde getirdiğini, bu nedenle de şehir olarak bir takım sorumluluklar yüklenilmesine işaret ederek, şehrin kültür değerleri ile yakından ilgilenenlere, folklor araştırmacılarına ve halk bilimcilerine önemli görevler düştüğünü söyledi.Bu sorumluluk çerçevesinde uzun yıllar bar oynayanların birikimlerinin toplanması ve aktarılması gerektiğini belirten Güzel ,sözlü kültürle, ve usta çırak ilişkileriyle aktarılan bu kültürle ilgili ne yazık ki ellerinde az miktarda yazılı eser bulunduğunu, dolayısıyla konuyla ilgili bir boşluk olduğunun altını çizerek hayatının büyük bir kısmını halkoyunları çalışmalarıyla geçirmiş, uzun yıllar bar oynamış olan Müslüm Çağlar Hoca’nın kaleme aldığı ve Er-Vak Yayınlarından çıkan ve Erzurum Barları hakkında düşüncelerin yer aldığı “Yüce Dağların Başında” isimli kitabın önemli bir boşluğu dolduracağına ve kültür mirasımıza önemli bir katkı sağlayacağına inandıklarını söyledi.Güzel, bu eserden sonra da kurtuluşun 100 yıl anısına kitap çıkarmaya devam edeceklerini de sözlerine ekledi.Kitabın yazarı Müslüm Çağlar ise kendi yaşadıkları ve tecrübelerini kaleme aldığı bu kitapta, 1970 yılından günümüze Halk Evi ve Halk Eğitimi Merkezi kültür kuşağında yetişenlerin ve Erzurum Barları ile ilgilenenlerin mutlak bir şeyler bulacağını söyledi.Çağlar “Yüce Dağların Başında” isimli bu kitapta, ilk defa Erzurum Barlarındaki Turan taktiğini yazdığını ve Erzurum Bar figürleri içerisinde At,Kartal,Turna,Tavuk ve Güvercin hareketlerini ortaya çıkartmaya gayret ettiğini ,1926 yılından günümüze Barlarda yapılan düzenlemeleri irdeleyerek şu an oynanan şekle nasıl gelindiğine cevap aradığını, İdris Kenger, Lütfü Aladağ ve Muhlis Gedikli gibi Erzurum barlarına emek veren birkaç halkiyatçının hayat hikayelerine yer verdiğini ifade ederek ,kitabın Er-Vak Yayınları arasında çıkmasının kendisini çok mutlu ettiğini belirtip tüm halk oyuncuları ve Erzurum kültürü adına Er-Vak Başkanı Erdal Güzel’e şükranlarını sundu.
