The group have come to the region in attempt to find season work after having fled civil war in their home country to Turkey, and they have been staying in the forestry after they had came up empty handed. While the migrants had to climb to the highway through the steep slopes in the forestry under control of gendarmerie, they had hard time to mount with bags and luggages, along with their children, babies. While some of the families slipped and fell down, families tried to becalm their babies, children crying with fear.

The ones that have managed to climb the slopes tried to help other migrants to climb, by handing them tree branches. The migrants were sent to Antalya province carried by buses and minibuses.
