- Turkey's agriculture producer prices rose by 2.48 percent in March, pushing the increase to over 10 percent in the first quarter, according to the data released by Turkstat on Tuesday.
Agriculture producer prices, seen among the main reasons of the high inflation in Turkey by the Central Bank, rose by 10.90 percent in the first quarter of the year, while the prices rose by 15.40 percent on annual basis and by 11.65 percent on the twelve months moving averages basis in March.
Monthly change, agriculture and hunting products increased by 3.11 percent, forestry products increased by 0.67 percent and fishing decreased by 16.03 percent.
Change by previous month, there were increases for non-perennial crops by 3.54 percent, for perennial crops by 4.93 percent and for livestock and animal products by 1.22 percent.
In March 2015, there were increases for vegetables and melons, roots and tubers with 6.45 percent, citrus fruits with 13.45 percent and oleaginous fruits decreased by 1.83 percent.
