- In Didim district of Aegean province of Aydın, an old fishing boat of 18 meters capsized and left 34 migrants including one child killed, in attempt to cross into the Greek island of Leros, illegally.
According to a report of Greek website www.protothema.gr, While 28 of the migrants managed to swim and reach the shore, some 62 of the migrants were captured by Greek coast guard teams.
The migrants that were captured and the bodies were brought to the Leros island. Greek coast guard teams resumed their research/rescue works over air and overland.
