- In western province of Kütahya, 1,500 red-legged partridges were tossed into air and set free, at the heart of Hisarcık district’s nature.
Gediz National Parks and Nature Conservation branch teams procured the partridges from Yozgat Station for Wild Animals and Patridge Production and brought them to Hisarcık, Çavdarhisar and Domaniç districts of Kütahya province, in order to set them free.
In contrast with this environmentalist move, the statement by Chief of Gediz National Parks and Nature Conservation Sami Atay, was quite controversial: “We are also thankful to the accompany of our people and our hunters today.”
In the following days, another 1,000 red-legged partridges will be tossed into air to enrich the province’ nature regarding the amount of animals, Atay anounced.
