- House sales rose by 1.1 percent in Turkey, rising over 100 thousand units in November on annual basis, while new house sales fell slightly over the same period, according to House Sales Statistics, released on Tuesday.
The mortaged house sales throughout Turkey rose by 0.9 percent to 37 thousand units in November, rising to 35.6 percent share of all house sales at 104 thousand units in the same month.
Other house sales, including direct cash sales and in sales campaign of the construction companies, rose by 1.2 percent to 67 thousand units, over the same period.
New house sales in Turkey fell by 0.3 percent to 48 thousand units in November, falling to 46.4 percent share in all house sales, while second hand house sales rose by 2.3 percent to 56 thousand units.
In November total 1,687 houses were sold to foreigners, 549 units in Antalya, 500 units in İstanbul, 103 units in Yalova, 86 units in Aydın and Bursa, 80 units in Sakarya and 69 units in Muğla.
