- Turkish companies, SUMMA Group and TAV Airport Holding were awarded as world’s best project leaders, by the worldwide weekly magazine Engineering News Record (ENR) within the “Global Best Projects Awards” annual competition.
As two members of Turkish Contractors Association (TMB) remaining among the world's top 250 International Contractors in the last seven years, SUMMA’s “Dakar International Conference Center” project, designed by Tabanlıoğlu Mimarlık and TAV’s “Medina Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport” project were granted in the competition.
The award-winning companies will be honored in an awards ceremony at the ENR Global Construction Summit, on September 10 in New York.
Having remarked that the global success of Turkish contractors are remaining and stepping up, the Head of Turkish Contractors Association Mithat Yenigün said, “It is an honor to be awarded the world’s number two, with our wide company network in the last seven years.”
