- Syrians continue to flee to Turkey through mined area on the border line, as Öncüpınar border gate in Kilis province was closed on security concerns.
Syrians use paths in the mined area to pass to Turkey, fleeing from the war in their home country. Turkish security forces closed the border gate and tightened the security measures in the region, as the clashes between the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and the Free Syria Army forces got harder in recent days.
