- In the Ceylanpınar district of Şanlıurfa, three people were detained within the investigations regarding the incident where two police officers were found dead in their shared house, officials announced.
The murder of two police officers in the province that the outlawed PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) had claimed responsibility, has increased the tension in the Şanlıurfa province, after the massacre having left 32 people dead and 100 wounded, after an ISIL attack.
The police officers were killed in revenge of Suruç massacre, said in a statement appeared on an internet site close to the armed branch of the group, blaming the Turkish police to collaborate with the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL).
