"we Will Not Allow You To Drag Turkey Into War" Slams Hdp

– The HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş made a press statement before his party’s Central Executive Commitee (MYK) meeting regarding the tense agenda in the country.

“A temporary government with its temporary prime minister is dragging the country step-by-step into a civil war, regional war. Turkey has already been bogged down the Middle East quagmire because of wrong policies in Syria” Demirtaş told reporters.

Having declared that the party will not allow that Turkey is dragged into a war, “We do not own any chairs, any red plates or billions of dollars stolen and fit into a shoe box, of which we have fear to lose. We came penniless and we will go penniless. Go worry about yourself... Do you assume that the flag you have covered those corpses, those coffins will hide your crimes as well?” said Demirtaş.

The real architect of this design was President Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu was the practitioner, he argued. “They should better know that we have no palaces, no red plates, no millions of dollars to lose. We came penniless and we’ll go penniless. You better think about yourself. We have no fear of anything” he said.

“These massive cross-border operations are the government’s efforts to save itself. These are operations of the palace. The palace has established its own state with a massive budget, cover operations and institutions” he added.

Demirtaş vowed his HDP would continue to work for the next elections to avoid the AKP stirring up more trouble in Turkey, stressing, “Peace was just a move ahead. There was only step left” in reference to the halted Kurdish peace process.

The HDP co-chair also referred to the statement of MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) leader, Devlet Bahçeli, regarding Bahçeli’s statement calling on the Supreme Court of Appeals Prosecutor’s Office to act against HDP to ban the party.

“The ones that had sunken in blood, holding blood in their hands from Maraş to Çorum, attempt to call to account while not giving account. The people open parties, the people close parties. If there is any policies to be blamed, those would be the fascist thoughts which stands with supports of the AKP and which butters up to the AKP” slammed Demirtaş.
