- In Turkey’s southeastern province of Diyarbakır, two reporters from the British VICE News international news organisation were detained by the Police Department Directorate of Anti-terror Branch officers, along with their translators.
VICE News journalists Jake Hanrahan and Philip Pendlebury having been deployed to the province for reporting the developments in the region were detained by the police along with their interpreters. The anti-terror brach teams have not made and statement on the reason for detainment yet.
