- Clashes have sparked across Turkey’s Kilis border town in Syrian villages, between Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and Army of Conquest, consisting of opposition forces.
The ongoing clashes have started at night and continued in the morning. While sounds of aircrafts came from across the border and ISIL militants and opposition forces combated with air fire and rockets.
As Soran, Savran, Karamezra and Harcelli villages are only a couple of kilometres away to Turkey-Syria borderline, the clashed raised fear among inhabitants of Turkey’s Kilis.
While five opposition militants were hospitalized in Kilis province, security measures were boosted in the region.
