- Investors in stocks in Turkish markets made the highest real net profit in 2014, due to soaring share prices, fuelled by international investors' massive buying, according to the real profits d by financial instruments data, released on Friday.
Total stocks portfolio of international investors rose by 24 percent to 62 billion dollars at the end of 2014, with adding about 12 billion dollars new net purchasing in the same year.
Ingot gold, as one of the financial investment tools, yielded the highest monthly real profit with the rates 5.16 percent and 4.82 percent according to domestic hroducer hrice index (D-PPI) and consumer price index (CPI) respectively.
According to D-PPI, the monthly real profit rates of stock exchange, dollar, euro, government domestic debt instruments and deposit interest were 4.56 percent, 3.42 percent, 2.16 percent, 1.34 percent and 1.18 percent, respectively.
According to CPI, the monthly real profit rates of investors of stock exchange, dollar, euro, government domestic debt instruments and deposit interest were 4.23 percent, 3.08 percent, 1.83 percent, 1.01 percent and 0.85 percent, respectively.
QUARTERLY REAL PROFITS
Stock exchange made the highest real profit with the rates of 8.34 percent according to D-PPI and 5.73 percent according to CPI, quarterly. In the same period, investors of euro lost by 0.11 percent and 2.52 percent according to D-PPI and CPI.
BI-ANNUAL REAL PROFITS
Dollar made the highest real profit with the rates of 7.03 percent according to D-PPI and 5.82 percent according to CPI, bi-annually. In the same period, investors of euro made the highest loss with the rates of 2.99 percent and 4.08 percent according to D-PPI and CPI respectively.
ANNUAL REAL PROFITS
The annual real profit rates of stock exchange were 11.68 percent and 9.81 percent according to D-PPI and CPI respectively, however in the same period investors of euro made the highest loss with the rates of 6.04 percent and 7.61 percent according to D-PPI and CPI.
