– Police confiscated 12 thousand and 929 pieces of historical artifacts, most of them being coins, in an operation in Karşıyaka district of İzmir. One person detained within the operation.
İzmir Police Department Directorate of Anti-smuggling and Organised Crime Branch teams started an operation after recieving a report on M.G. with the accusation of posession of historical artifacts. The confiscated artifacts will be transfered to İzmir Directorate of Museums. M.G. was released after interrogation.
