- In Datça district of Aegean resort province of Muğla, a boat has sunk and left 13 migrants including four children drown, according to initial detections, said officials.
The group was in attempt to leave Körmen region in Datça to cross into Greek island of Kos around 06.00 a.m. on Sep. 15, in a 20-meters-long wooden boat.
After the boat capsized off the Aegean, around 13 migrants’ lifeless bodies were pulled out of water, while around 205 migrants were rescued.
Rescue works continue in the region.
