England clinched an historic victory by 196 runs in the first Test against India on a sold-out final day at Lord's to assume a 1-0 lead in the four-match series.
Andrew Strauss's side bowled India out for 261 in the final session of the day with James Anderson taking five wickets as they moved one step closer in their quest to become the number one side in the world.
