Turkey's Export Prices Rose More Than 9 Pct. In H1

- Turkey's export prices rose for the seventh consecutive month in June, according to the Non-Domestic Producer Price Index data released by Turkstat on Tuesday.

Non-domestic producer price index at ND-PPI, which measures the change in the price of goods manufactured in the country and exported in a reference period, increased by 1.49 percent on monthly basis in June. The prices rose by 9.25 percent in the first six month period and rose by 10.51 percent on annual basis, at the end of June.

ND-PPI monthly increased by 1.63 percent in the index for mining and stone quarrying, and increased by 1.49 percent in the index for manufacturing.

The highest rates of monthly increase in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry were indices for computer, electronic and optical products at 4.49 percent, for wood and products of wood and cork, except furniture at 3.72 percent, and for motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers at 2.75 percent.

On the other hand the highest rates of monthly decrease in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry were index for leather and related products at 1.10 percent, other manufactured goods at 0.33 percent and wearing apparel at 0.28 percent.
