Turkish Exporters' Producer Prices Fell By 1.49 Pct. In January

- The prices of the goods manufactured in the country and exported in a reference period fell by 1.49 percent

- The prices of the goods manufactured in the country and exported in a reference period fell by 1.49 percent on monthly basis in January, according to the Non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI) data, released by Turkstat on Friday.

Non-domestic producer prices fell by 4.38 percent on annual basis, while ND-PPI rose by 10.41 percent on the twelve months moving averages basis in January 2015.

ND-PPI monthly decreased by 1.16 percent in the index for mining and stone quarrying and decreased by 1.49 percent in the index for manufacturing.

The highest rates of monthly increase in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry were indices for computer, electronic and optical products with 4.20 percent, for tobacco products with 3.65 percent and for other manufactured goods with 1.71 percent.

On the other hand the highest rates of monthly decrease in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry were indices for coke and refined petroleum products with 9.81 percent, for basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutic preparations with 6.14 percent and chemicals and chemical products with 4.11 percent.

According to main industrial groupings classification in January 2015, the highest rates of monthly and annual decrease were in energy goods.
