Syrians In Fancy Beach Wear Shock Police Expecting To Raid Illegal Migrant Boat

- In Bodrum district in Aegean resort town of Muğla, police teams have headed to the shore after a tip-off over a group of Syrian migrants seeking to flee to Greek islands.

However, police teams that have accustomed to capture migrants off the shore, worn out without food and water, this time crossed a group of migrants in fancy beach dress, wearing posh sun glasses, some of them listening to music, some of them swimming and taking their selfies at the beach.

Although the police have expected to find a group of migrants seeking to flee to Europe through Aegean, they found a wealthy group enjoying the beach and bantering.

While the police found out that some wealthy 150 Syrian migrants have been staying at the hotels and hostels in the region, they announced to the group over loudspeaker to clear off the beach. However the group ignored the police’s announcement and kept taking selfies, enjoying the sea.

Security teams figured out that the announcement in English didn’t work, and this time started to shout “Yallah Hotel!” in Arabic. This “result oriented” move of the police, apparently, worked well on the migrants; they left the beach at once.

Nevertheless, Directorate of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch in the district deployed coast guard boats for investigation in the region.
